Question theft light blinking all the time.

Is this normal? It doesn't do it when the truck is running. Just when I shut the truck off. The reason I'm asking is, I just reprogrammed two new keys, using the instructions in the owners manual. The reprogramming was successful, but I've now noticed the light is blinking. I never noticed before. Thanks for any light y'all can shed on this. m.a.t.

that is normal, according to the manual you should be worried if it ISNT blinking... supposedly when it's blinking, that means its protecting your vehicle .

When I first got my truck and read the manual its said it will blink for a few minutes I noticed that it blinked all the time and well I had a fit as I figured it was going to run down my battery blinking all the time but found something on this site about it and that it was normal for it to blink all the time and I've been happy ever since.
