Post flairside tail light removal

Has anyone had to do this yet to change a light bulb or whatever? I took a look and have no clue how to get at the light socket from inside the box. Does it unsnap from the front?

Look in your owners manual. It is explained there. If you don't have one, drop the tail gate and look on the edge for two axcess holes. remove the screws and pull out.

That extang tonneau you have, is it snapless and what color is the frame? I'm trying to decide about getting the FORD cover.

Don't get the Ford cover.... they are good for a summer, but in the winter and subsequent summers the rear corners curl up and actually hold water... looks bad too...

Mine is the snap version with chrome rails. Extang does make them snapless and with black rails. Blackmax I think they call it. The cover is hard to resnap in cold weather but I didn't buy this truck to haul stuff. I have a 89 f150 with a hard cover and full size bed for that.
