2000 Lariat w/LED odometer won"t come up after accident. won't show miles, only shows - - - - - - . any suggestions? Truck has been repaired and no other problems.

 

hey, i might can help you. im a elec. tech. at my ford dealership. every time i have sseen the odo do that it was becuse of a PATS problem. thats the system that wont let it run if its not a prog. key. The dashes means that the cluster, or HEC(hybrid electronic cluster), is in diag. mode. Try holding the trip reset button in and turning on the ign. and keep holding it till the guages sweep. see if the odo shows "diag" and post back a reply. Ive never had truck show that on the odo and actually crank and run!
