Unhappy Fuse #15 keeps blowing....

Hi all....

I have a 2000 F150 and today it blew fuse #15. I replaced it and it blows everytime, sometimes it taked longer than others.

It is a 5 amp fuse and affects the power windows, the overhaed lamps, the windshield wipers, and when blown will not allow me to shift out of park. This last bit means I have to replace the fuse everytime I get in the vehicle.

The manual says #15 is for the stop lamp switch, GEM module, Rabs test connector.

I'm thinking it could be the sensor on the brake maybe? I don't know why else it would not let me shift unless it could not tell I was holding down the brake.......

Any thought would greatly appreciated.....

sounds like a short somewhere I'l assume that your still under warranty since its a 2000, so I'd take it to the dealer, could be a bad GEM
