Does anyone know why my door ajar light stays on when im driving in my truck? I eventually turns off, an i have noticed that the doors look at about the same time the light comes off. Can anyone help me? Thanx

It's your dooor ajar switch in the end of the door(switch is conected to the latch inside the door on the end of the door)I can eather replace it (kind of a bitch) or spray so WD40 in the end of the door at the latch, this is a commen prob on Fords.

i tried the 40, but it didnt seem to take care of the prob. You have any more advise?

 

Do you know what door is being used whan the light stays on? Did you spray that door? If it didn't work your going to have to replace them. Ford part #XF1Z-14018-BA, motorcraft #SW-5534 their the same for both doors, Depending on expertice, might what your for dealer to install.
