Is there any way to turn off the feature of having the interior lights come on when the keypad is touched? I don't like the idea of anyone being able to look into the truck so easily, it kind of defeats one of the reasons I have tinted windows all around.

I wonder if a dimmer switch off a late-maode explorer or windstar could be made to work in an F-series... on those, if you turn the **** all the way down and dime the dash all the way, it clicks into a mode that allows you to open the doors without activating the dome lights. It's good when cleaning or tailgating with the doors open... stops it from draining the battery. Might be worth looking into with some parts from a junk-yard.
