Post Heater Fan powered continuously

It's been raining steadily here for the last two days. Yesterday I went out to the truck got what I needed and all seemed fine. Today needed tire gauges out of it and found that the none of the electrical worked. Everything was stone cold dead. Out of desperation of not wanting to work in the rain tried a boost and surprisingly it started and ran. Drove around to the garage, turned it off, threw the charger on and it charged at 8 amps for the first while. Now 6 hours later it's still charging at 4.

Here's the weird part. The Ac/Heater fan continues to operate even after the key is off and out of the ignition and the doors have been opened. Now I know that the radio & windows will still operate for what is it, 10 minutes after shut down, but I've never seen the heater carry on. Anyhow I'm guessing that the wet weather shorted something out giving the heater it power back that was originally cut off when the ignition was turned off and it ran down the battery. The power locks and the alarm work but not off the key fob.

I'm wondering what else is draining current that's not supposed to with the key off.

Soounds like a relay going bad... I would guess somewhere under the hood in the fuse block, there's a relay that is powered on when the key is on which controls the blower motor, juice to the windows, etc. If it shorted in the closed position, it never shuts off. A good electrical trouble-shooting shop should be able to track it down if you can't. I'd start by finding the relay that controls all those accessories and go from there. Let us know what you find.
