Alarm system on F150 2006 de-programmed

Guys,
Bought this 2006 F150 which has the premium alarm/remote starter installed... Problem is the alarm parameter were too annoying (system arming itself after 1 minute) I tried several things to change it without success so I decided to unplug the gold module and replug it... well, it did half of what I wanted... It got rid of teh arming problem... but now I don,t have the remote starter working anymore... I think it has something todo with unplugging the module (perhaps it had resetted ??)

I need to know what are the steps to reprogram the whole unit so that I can have my remote starter working again... You r help would be greatly appreciated!!

Quick google search :

http://home.comcast.net/~donpaul/Ford_alarm.pdf

http://www.clubfte.com/users/hawkins/manuals.htm

The install instructions seem to have the directions for programming the RMST.

The 1st one is from 2004, so it could have changed.

I have the Silver RMST / RKE directions in PDF if you want them, not sure the programming is the same for the RMST part as the VSS/RMST/RKE version.

What is the problem you are having ? ( does not do anything, only the RKE function works, etc ).

SSCULLY,
Thanks for the reply... My problem:

Alarm system was arming itself after 1 minute (annoying)
Remote starter was working just fine
In order to troubleshoot the alarm system, I unplugged the Gold module and replugged it
After the replug, alarm system does not arm itself anymore, BUT
Remote starter does not work anymore either...
I think I de-programmed everything by unplugging the module, but now I would like tro have the remore starter to work again.. donM't really care about thealarm system....

Got what your problem was from the 1st post in your thread.

Did you download the install directions, and try to program the RKE / RMST ?
