Well in that case then no its not what im looking at doing.
So I guess that leaves me with two options.
1. Figure out the way to do it the way I described, if possible... run them along with the lows, highs, or parking lights and also by themselves. I just cant have more than 2 sets of lights running at one time. (per law). (thus my reasoning for having them shut off if the fogs were engaged)
2. Just hook them up to a switch for me to turn on and off. When I want. Take a chance at getting stopped for having more than 2 sets of light running.

I have these same lights in the grille of my '99. Believe me, if you had these on *any* time in traffic (day or night), I'd bet a cop would stop you regardless of the number of lenses lit. They are extremely bright. Besides, if you really want to be "legal," you shouldn't use them on-road at all.

Then..automatically switch off (or not be able to turn them on with the switch) if the headlights (low beams) are turned on with the factory fogs.

Here you go, the aux lamps will shut off if the Low beam and the factory fog lamps are both on. If just the low beams are on, or just the factory fog lamps are on, the aux lamps will still work, as well as the high beams.

An add-a-fuse in the radio slot for powering the switch ( to the relay coil ) will make sure they will not run after you get out of the truck.
The SPST switch is placed after the control relays, so if you get an illuminated SPST switch, the indicator lamp ( to show on ) will go out if both the low beams and fog lamps are on.

Well, that's a whole lot better than my graph paper and pens would have looked!

What program are you using to draw these up?

I use Visio to draw diagrams.

I made the relay with lines, and grouped it together and added connector points, as an object so I can reused it.

Think the lamps are a coil ( isolation transformer ? ) and another object grouped together, the EE symbols uses the actual lamp symbol, which not too many would get.

SScully..

Couple questions.
1. For a SPST switch? Ive got these will it work? http://www.oznium.com/rocker-switch
2. So I need 2 additional relays, are these they same type, same Specs as the one that came with the hellas or do I need to look for something with specs.
3. Whats --- 'MFS Output'
4. Wheres the best place to tap into the headlamp switch wiring and the MFS output wiring? for a clean install.

Thanks for all the help

1. Yes that illuminated SPST switch will work just fine.

2. Those relays are SPDT relays, so they have a normally open and normally closed contacts. Not the same as what you got. Take a look at Hella & the likes for a SPDT relay.

3. MFS is MultiFunction Switch, the turn signal lever.

4. The fog lamp circuit, right behind the main headlamp switch.
The low beam is the output of the MFS, look for the wires coming down the steering wheel column, behind the anti submarine / knee panel.
