Question Battery drain after HID and Bambi mods

What would be wrong? The HID is from Future Vision HID and they confirm that direct connection to the battery should not consume any power when the car is off

P.S. the car was unsed for 2 weeks, I usually leave it for 4 weeks without any problem before the new mods.

I would have to say the issue is with the HID, as the only thing you changed ( or should have changed ) on the fog lamps is where the fog lamp relay gets ground from.

Pick one mod or the other, and return it to factory, and see if the battery still drains down.

How can I find out if the battery draining while the car is switched off? (without constantly checking the battery level from time to time)

AMP meter, either the standard meter, or a clamp meter.

I have an old Fluke clamp meter, but this meter would require the hood up to test with.
You might want to look at an Ampmeter from Datel or the likes if you want to be able to monitor the AMP usage with the hood down.

I always keep my light switch to Automatic, could this be a problem for the HID or Bambi mods?

Should not be, it takes dark & the truck running to trigger in the autolamp setting.
