Installing a brake controller

I am trying to install a trailer brake controller in my 2010 screw. My problem is that the connector is not where the instructions that came with the truck in the harness package says it is supposed to be. The diagram shows it right behind the little change pocket to the right of the steering column. I removed the dash panels and the pocket but see nothing back there. If anyone has been thru this and can shed some light on my missing connector, I would really appreciate the help.
Thanks
Hank

Check above the OBD connector. It is usually taped or tie wrapped right behind that.

Thanks Guys
That's exactly where I found it. I can't believe Ford sent me instructions to take apart my dash.
