Need help on CEL...
well its my bosses truck and the service engine soon light is on... it beeps 5 beeps at 5 intervals... is this some kinda code? it started right after he had the brake master cylinder changed... not sure what code is in there or if there is a code... my X3 is at home... does anyone know anything about this?

The 5 x 5 beeping is the Airbag light in the cluster is out, and there is a LFC ( light Flash Code ) pending.
Search on airbag beep there are a few threads on the topic.
The CEL, you will need to get the code scanned. Autozone will be able to do this for the Powertrain codes ( Pxxxx ).
Have them scan it, and get the actual code, not what they think needs to be replaced.
These are 2 different issues he is having.
