Cruise Control Indicator Lamp

Hi guys,
Sorry about the cross post but I was advised by someone on the forum for the 98 F150s to ask over here.
Some background. The cruise control was not working and when I tried to run the cruise control self diagnostics no light came on, nor does one come on when turning the key to the on position. (Manual troubleshooting pointed to the CCDS so I replaced the assembly and that took care of the non operation problem but still no indicator light.
The vehicle: 1998 F150 3 door 4.6V8 5 spd stick with the optional instrument cluster.
The owners manual does not show an indicator light for cruise control, nor can I see anything that looks like it may be where one would be.
Though I know I can manually hit the on switch each time, it is nice to see an indication that cruise is on, particularly after having it disconnected after a slowdown and a bit of stop and go before getting back on the highway.

Is there an indicator light on this truck? If so, where on the instrument panel, or other place would I look to find it?

The CC indicator lamp was not in the cluster until 99 or 00, so you do not have one.
