ONE headlight not working

I bought a used 2001 Lariat a few weeks ago. When i bought it the headlights were super dim. he had so much crap running off the lights it burnt the connecter up. I bought new headlights last week and went to turn them on and the driver side bulb would not come on. So I removed all the lights he had on the truck replaced the pig tails on both sides and now the drivers headlight still will not come on. I tried swapping bulbs with no luck. I have been driving around on just fogs and am ready to have some dang headlights...

The connector that plugs into the bulb, both were bad.

I pulled number 16 and it was fine. the passenger light works fine, is there a seperate fuse for each side?

16 is for both high beams.

26 & 28 are for the low beams.

These are the fuses in the CJB ( aka Central Junction Box / cab fuse panel ).

If you did not get an owners manual with the truck, download one from Ford
