Starting Issues

A brief rundown on what ive got. My son mud bogged a perfectly good 99' 4x4 Crewcab with a 5.4 Triton to death. I bought it from him so he could get something else (2003 Supercrew) and now its my problem. I started with the heating issue and replaced heatercore (completely stopped up) so you should know what I went through with that. Next, I removed the cab, washed all the mud off the frame removed engine and replaced with a wrecking yard motor w/ 100,000 miles. Finished the build but now wont start. New battery and cables, all lights come on in dash but all i get is a click on the relays at the underdash fuse panel when I try to start. I can get it to turn over by jumping at solenoid but wont start. There is only one plug under the dash thats not hooked up and I cant find anything to plug into it. Its fastened to the fusebox and hangs down. Possibly for an accesory I dont have?? Any way, If you guys could give me some options to try I would appreciate it. It is an automatic and was running before I started the rebuild but motor was just too far gone. Battery is brand new but when I checked earlier it was a bit weak. Could a weak battery cause my no start problem eventhough it turns over good when I jump at solenoid? All lights go off when I try and start and I hear a click like it resets.

Mike

I have since answered the question of the plugs not hooked up from looking through past threads. They are the trailer brake pigtail on the left and the OBD on the right so thats not my problem. Could still use some help tracking down this monster.
