Fog Light blowout

I have a 2005 Screw, i have recently blown two fog light bulbs in the same lamp. I have noticed moisture inside the light at times......can't find where it is coming in from, is anyone else having this same trouble????

I have the same year truck. I've never seen moisture in the light housings, and, my bulbs are fine.

The bulb socket is probably a twist-lock. If so, be sure it is locked in tight and check the gasket on it. You shouldn't get moisture inside the lens. Look at both sockets to see if anything looks different between the good one and the leaking one. Also, look for a cracked housing. Last thought: When you replace the bulb, do not handle it with your bare hands (use gloves or a rag). Good luck.

As has been said, there should be no moisture in there. I would make sure the bulb is nice and secure (doesn't matter if it's the burned one), make sure it has the gasket (if I remember correctly that's an "O" ring type gasket) and then run a water hose over it. if you can't get the hose back in there to flood it properly, take the light out and (with the bulb in) flood it. I can almost guarantee you'll find the leak (and you would probably have to take it out anyway to repair it.)

My old lady's Explorer had this, pissed me off enough after 2 bulbs that I replaced the foglight with an ebay one barely used. $30 and a few minutes, good to go. I tried drilling small holes at the bottom to drain the water which helped in not getting moisture in there but it was too late anyways= garbage!
