2004 F150 antitheft wont let start

i have a 2004 F150 and it starts and runs perfect until the ambient temp drops to severely cold ie zero or below farenheit. warms up 10+ degrees and starts perfect. anti theft light pulsates and does not go out after 3 seconds when this problem is happening. i thought i read a thread that there is a tsb out on this? any ideas?

What 2004 model do you have ?

Heritage
Lightning
New body style ?

OK, the TechTip ( TSB ? ) that you might be talking about is with the PIK3 antenna.

The problem that the TechTip has :
IPATS signal strength is lower than earlier EPATS systems and may result in an
improper PIK3 read at low temperatures on some vehicles.
The job aid for the additional loop is for the PIK3 unit, which may or may not help your problem.

Drop me an email via my profile, and I can send you the PDF.

The file name ( please include in your email ) is PIK3_Antenna_TechTip.pdf
