2010 Expedition "MYKEY" Replacement

Picked up a 2010 Expedition that has the MYKEY feature. The key also has the FOB built into the end of the key instead of a separate unit.
I plan to have an aftermarket alarm/remote start installed w/ it's own fob... I was thinking about getting a standard transponder key instead of the one w/ the built-in FOB to reduce "confusion" and the size of the thing in my pocket.
Can I get a regular transponder key for like an 09 Expedition, have it cut and program it without any problems? Or is there a difference in how the transponder works between the 09 and 10 Expeditions? I'm not really concerned about losing the MYKEY features, except for that engine starting thing.
