This is from the 2006 EVTM, so it should be the same for the 04-08 MY trucks.
Do you currently have the factory fog lamps or are you adding them ?
If you are adding them, don't expect the wiring to be completely installed. This in the 04-08 MY, the missing wire is from the main headlamp switch ( fog switch section ) to the fuse panel to operate the fog lamp relay.
The other consideration is the wattage of the bulbs in the aux lamps you are adding. The factory setup is designed around 45 W bulbs.

I'm adding them. but I do have the wires in my head light switch, I bought the fog light switch that pulls out and I have Auto Lamps, but I do have the two wires in the harness, and I have the fuse plugged in for fog lamps..But I cannot find the cables to hook them up to. I am going to try it tonight, so any help it MUCH appreciated!

Might want to meter the wires from the main headlamp switch to the fuse panel, this is where they are missing. Other threads have the same info, wires at the main headlamp switch, wires behind the bumper, and can jumper the normally open contacts in the fog lamp relay socket, and make the fog lamps work, but the switch does not operate them.
again, what is the wattage of the bulbs in the aux lamps you are adding. This is important, as you can do damage if you are going too high of a wattage bulb.

My main problem is I don't know where my fog light cables are. I have the two cables the run into the Harness that plugs into my switch in the cab of the truck, and I have the fuse in the box, but I don't know where the wires in the engine compartment. If I could find those then I suppose from there I could splice my fog lights in using the the cable that comes off the relay that came with lights...correct?

What I am say is use the wiring harness that came with the aux lamps, don't use the factory wiring to the lights or the relay.
The only thing you are using is the wire from the main headlamp switch to operate the relay that came with the lights.
Your aux lamps will actually be brighter if you use 16 or 14 AWG wire vs. the factory wiring.

On the diagram above it shows the tan/orange wire going to feed power to the lights. In my 2005 that wire is not there. I am giessing the small blue number next to the wire and CJB is the plug and pin position. I am about to go out and look at mine to see how the plugs and pins are labelled.
