gauge panel needle removal

gauge panel needle removal

i have an issue regarding my gauge panel.. i removed the panel to check into raptors green removal off of the gauge face... well i got that apart and got the needles off however decided it was to much work to remove the green plastic so i decided to put it all back together.. i took a pencil and marked where the needles were prior to removal.. and i put the needles back on put my gauge cluster back in the truck and now my gauges are ALL messed up.. it idles at 2200 rpm 0mph=15 and i had a quarter of a tank of gas and now i have 3 quarters etc.. is there a master way to set those needles.. please help!!!

Remove the lens, turn the key to RUN, pull the needles off, & put them back on at "0", except the volt & fuel gauges. Use a digital multimeter in the power point to get the voltage & set that needle there. Set the fuel needle about where you think it should be.

alrite thanks ya that wat i was thinkin to do but didnt know if there was a more professional way.. and i dnt know the voltages or what to go by
