Question 6-DISC CD player displays "CD ERROR?"

I have a 2005 Supercrew with a 6-DISC CD player that all of a sudden displays a "CD ERROR?" I've never seen this before and was wondering if anyone knows a quick fix rather than taking it back to the dealership and spending money for a new CD player. Nothing works as far as the CD player is concerned. When trying to switch from the radio back to the CD player "No DVD/CD" is displayed and when trying to eject or load a CD/DVD "CD ERROR" is displayed. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

It is a stock 6 disc in-dash CD player. It was lower 40's when it happened. The truck was already running and had been for about 20 mins before the occurence of the "CD ERROR" being displayed.

My 03 does that. Had the battery disconnected once then after I re-connected it the silly thing started working again, don't know why. But now it doesn't work at all. If you figure it out it would probably help alot of people.
Good luck!
