Do cargo light bulbs and license plate bulbs run on the same circuit?

Took the third brake light housing out to fix the notorious leak and now both the passenger side of the cargo light, and the passenger side license plate bulb is out. Curious if they are tied together, or coincidence.

Anybody know for sure before I tear into?

This would be under the column of possible, but not probable with both bulbs being burnt out.

Those are 2 different circuits.

Cargo lamps are from circuit 53, from the instrument cluster pin # 8, PWM_DIM_OUT. This is taking input from the main headlamp switch ( panel dimer rotated all the way up ) to the cluster at pin #11, Dome Switch.

The source of the power is from the Battery Saver relay, fuse F24.

The tag / plate lamps are from the circuit #14 from the main headlamp switch, which is fuse F6. The splice to the rear tail lamps and the tag lamps is a common single splice, S115. If there was a power problem ( aside from a corroded bulb socket or the wire got mashed from the splice to the bulb holder ), the rear parking lamps and plate lamps would all be out.

Good luck with the bulb replacement.

You were right, the two were independent. After changing each bulb I was good to go.
