Red alarm light on dash staying on.

So this morning when I left for work I started up my truck and the little red light on top of the dash light up and stayed on. I really didnt know what to think so I drove on to work with the light on the entire time. There was no ill effects of the light being on I could tell during the drive. When I arrived at work I turned off the truck and tried restarting it to see if I could duplicate the issue, but the light went off like normally. Anyone know if this is an indication of a problem, or maybe just a one time fluke? Thanks for any help with this.

That is strange, the Anti theft indicator in the sunload sensor should go off after PATS has completed the check of the key.

The PCM is what grounds the LED in the sunload sensor to turn it on ( or make it blink ) and the power is from CJB Fuse F5.

Don't know why the PCM did not turn it off after the check.

Do you have a program loaded on the truck ?

I use to have a Gryphon programmer with a custom performance tune. I have sold my Gryphon though and I know for a fact I returned the truck to stock before removing it. This is the first time this has happened, so Im just lost.

Just keep an eye on it. With the factory load ( or with a tune for that matter ) this should not happen.
