amp steps, which black/blue wire?

Hi Guys,

I was looking in my back passenger side door sill and can't figure out which wire to use for my amp steps. I have 3 black wires with blue stripes? Truck is an 05 fx4.

Can anyone give me the break down of which wires work which doors?

Black/pink stripe
Black/yellow
black/blue
black/white

It all works perfect except for the drivers door. The radio stays on so maybe the connection to the drivers door has a short. I'm guessing this is the black/blue stripe?

Thanks!!!

I am guessing you are looking for the interior lighting circuit ?

If so there is a how to in technical articles section that has pictures of which wire to use

Do you happen to know what the other black/blue striped wire controls? What is the worst case if I used the wrong wire?

Got me, I only know the circuit number from the connector view
Never tried it to see what happens, as it was not the one I needed.

Does anyone on the board have a wiring diagram of this location? Drivers side harness that runs in between the front and rear seat?

wiring diagrams are by function, you would need to know if it is Stop / Turn lamps, Ext Lamps, power seats, etc.

The paper manual shows the connector face with the circuit numbers and that is it. There is wiring harness loom part number, but that is connector to connector ( or fuse block )

Of the three black/blue wires, one will be different (shade of blue, line type, thickness, etc). That's the one you want to use.

Black/pink stripe Front left/right (not sure)
Black/yellow Front left/right (not sure)
black/blue Rear left/right (not sure)
black/white Rear left/right (not sure)
Hope that helps.
