Truck shuts off and won't restart!!!
Today while driving to work my truck (1997 F150 Lariat 5.4L 4WD) just shut off suddenly. I almost crashed but back to the issue. It will not start, the engine cranks, but no start. We checked the pressure of the fuel at the rail and it was ok. However we don't seem to be getting any spark from the COP. They were all replaced last week along with the plugs. Checked the Inertia switch and every single fuse. They all check out.
Any ideas, I took out the PCM and I am hoping to get it checked tomorrow but anything else I should check?

I would think check the fuses for the PCM, and the PCM power relay ( think that is the correct name ) .
Don't know how your are going to have the PCM checked without it in the truck.
Does the NGS have a bench test mode for the PCM ?

There were several TSBs about bench-testing PCMs, but I don't remember which tester (NGS/WDS) was supposed to do it, and I've never found a dealership that could/would/knew how to bench test one (even the one I worked at).
Fixed!
Update...
Turns out it was my crank angle sensor that was damaged. We also tested the computer by swapping it in another F150, so if you have a friend with an engine like yours that is one way to check your computer.
