Reverse sensors on an 07 fx2 not working

Reverse sensors on an 07 fx2 not working
When I put it in reverse, the back-up sensors work for about 2 seconds, then they cut off, and the back-up sensor button illuminates 'off'
any suggestions?

Do your reverse lamps work correctly ?
Have you had any damage to the bumper ?
Have you checked behind the bumper for damage to the wiring to the parking aid sensors ?
