Avg Mpg Resetting

I'm not noticing anything else out of the ordinary, but if I let the truck sit for 10-12 hours and then get back in it, the Avg Mpg is reset to 0. Is anybody else having this issue? It would seem if the battery was draining, I would see other symptoms but maybe everything else has flash based memory now to retain settings?

I'd expect your problem to be a blown fuse. Certain items in the truck use "keep alive" power to retain their settings. The radio presets is one of those things. I think power seat positions and AMPG as well as Trip Odometer are others. I seem to recall there being two or three fuses in my truck that handle this task. Unless your truck is like mine (2004-2006), I couldn't direct you to the right ones though. Look in your owners manual for "keep alive" power in the fuse chart.
