power seat blowing fuses

My 04 Screw just started blowing fuses when I try to adjust the seat back and forth. I looked under the seat for any exposed wires and everything looks fine. Any suggestions before I bring it to my mechanic would be greatly appreciated.

This writeup is very helpful, I believe it is similar to your setup.

Thanks for the reply. That wasn't the problem. I talked to my mechanic and he said to try lubricating the seat track. The motor draws a lot of power and if the seat track is dry it will draw too much and blow the fuse. He was right. I lubed the the track with a lithium spay grease and so far so good, haven't blown a fuse since.
