I am in the process of installing a code alarm ca 650 on my 07 scab and I have 2 questions. First I am stuck on what I would think is a simple thing, on the starter kill relay I have all the wires hooked up except pin 85 on the relay the guide shows it goes to fused 12v ignition/start. Can I just hook that wire into the ignition 1 wire? Second question is about diode isolating the doors. Do I need to do that on my truck? The reason I ask is because according to code alarm techservice website and the lead installer at the local car audio store say that I should not have to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

have any of you used the code alarm techservice installation guide for 07 f150? if so how did it turn out?

 

well I got it all hooked up and everything works fine except for the remote shows the door open if i press the arm button
