Interior Lights Flickering. Truck Wont Start. HELP!

So I drove around town today running errands for about 4 hours straight. I came home and parked the truck as usual. About 3 or 4 hours later I opened the driverside door and all of the lights inside the truck began to flicker like crazy. I could hear what sounds like a solenoid/relay clicking in tune with the on/off of the lights. I put the key in the ignition and I get NOTHING. Anybody experience this? It's kinda late and don't want to pull the battery out. What is the first thing I should try tomorrow morning?

I wouldn't pull the battery, but check the voltage at the battery, to see what it has.
Also check the cables at both ends for corroded connectors.

Remember to check the cables at the starter, and the ground on both sides as well.

so i checked the voltage.. 9 sumthin. Pulled it and took it to get tested. I knew it was the battery then and there, it was all puffy/bloated looking. The stupid woman still insisted on charging then testing it. 5 hrs later, bad battery. Stupid optima, only lasted me 3 years. Well warranty was out the window, so they gave me a prorated price on a new one. Thanks for the help.
