After checking all purple wires on the driver side, wd 40ing the crap out of the doors etc. we found our problem. One the passenger front side, near the fuse box and keyless entry box - pulled the floor panel to reveal the wiring and there was corrosion on a red wire with a white stripe. this wire comes from the rear of the vehicle and is spliced to go from one wire to 2 wires - our corrosion was just in front of the splice. FIXED!!!! I realize this is an f150 forum and that this may be of no use to anyone here, but it seems to be a headache for so many people I just wanted to share what we found. I want to thank you for your post. I just had the same problem and the red and white wires were the problem. The only issue I had was I was looking by the fuse box, when the bad ted/white splice is under the passenger side running board. Just had to remove the metal guard and mesh covering. Hopes this information helps anyone else to locate the problem.

purple wire

I am new to the forum, i have read alot of the post though in order to try and figure out this issue, not trying to beat a dead horse but...I have an 07 f150 S-crew XLT, i was installing an aftermarket radio when my problem started...
-radio will not shut off (even checked with factory radio)
-interior lights will not cut on
-dash lights not working
-windows still roll up and down after
all while key is out and door opened
i have tested the accy delay relay, it works fine, i have also stripped the drivers side for the purple wire from front to back, mine does not splice anywhere, if anybody else has any other suggestions i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
