Door pad entry system question?

Did for put all the wiring in place for the door key code entry system on all f150's? Basically I just want to go to the junk yard and get the harness and entry pad and see if it will be plug and play with my truck that does not have it right now?

Thanks Dave.....

Your profile is blank ( look to the right by the post count on mine and yorus, you have no truck info filled out ).

I did look at your profile to 2x check, you have the info in the signature ( I have them turned off ).

If you take off the door panel, and look for the keypad plug, you should see it through the speaker opening. Take a look at my interior album, I have the pictures from my 2001 XLT SCrew install. Don't know if this will be there on the XL trim level

Good luck

Your truck has to have a trim level... I am betting XLT. They did not have XL Supercrews that model year.

Here is the link to the interior album ( get to it via clicking on the name, view public profile, then on the right is 2 of the xx albums, click the show all albums URL )

https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...rior-pics.html

This green terminating plug is what you are looking for

If you need some help with the door panel removal, download the directions for the Muth Signal mirrors ( www.muthco.com )

I m going to have to defer to GreenBuck50 on if there was a XL trim level that year, I didn't look, so I cannot recall.

I believe my model year... 2008... was the first year for the XL Supercrew... in 2001 the only trims for Supercrew were XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Harley.

If the front badges have not been acetone'd, it should say under the F150 logo on the front fender

The green plug is coming from the truck's harness, the gray side in that picture, is a terminating plug that is installed, when the keypad is not there.

Did you take your door panel off yet ? It is a 5 min job to pull it, and the speaker, and take a quick look, it should be right there. The picture above is where it was when I pulled my door panel, and speaker out.
