Trailer Brake Wiring

Hey guys, i just purchased an 18' open bed car hauler. It came with a 6-pin round connector, however obviously all tow package F-150's come with the 7-pin blade receptacle (like my 1999 SCab 4x2 5.4). I went out to the local tractor supply and found an adapter to switch it over, however the brakes do not function.
like this

Now ive been reading that these adapters may need to be rewired for different brake wiring configurations. My box said "It comes with the brakes wired to the parameter accessory pin." and it can be easily changed by opening it up and swapping the lead connections.

My ultimate question is what pin on the truck side correlates to the brakes?

I can figure out which wire on the trailer does it, but still need to know on the truck side so i dont cross the wrong wires.

Thanks
Alan

It is not a thread, the directions come with the trailer tow package from teh factory.

If you are not the original owner, drop me an email via my profile and I will email you the PDF scan of the directions.

Some good info in the towing and hauling forum as well

Good to know. I think i have some info from the original owner.

And the brakes have been 'fixed'. Just had to swap the center pin over to the pin described above and all is well. Prodigy is handling everything great.

Thanks again guys!
