2002 F150 XL. Replaced OE seat with 40 20 40 seat from 2002 XLT. XL seat belts are mounted in cab corners; XLT belts are integrated into seat back. I rerouted the OE pretensioner terminal blocks to connect under the seat with the XLT plugs. I am now getting code(s) 46 (left pretensioner) and 47 (right pretensioner) on the dashlight. I can reconnect OE plugs and the codes are cleared. How can I determine if I have (2) failed pretensioners on a salvaged seat or does the computer not recognize the "different" seat? If it is a computer issue can it be reprogrammed to match the VIN of the vehicle the 40 20 40 were originally installed?
