Reverse light...help!!!
Reverse light...help!!!
I have a 1994 F150 and apparently the last owner had to do some shady wiring jobs for the tail lights. It looks like they made their own version of a trailer hook-up, but the problem is now that I have it, my reverse lights don't work...at all. I also have found out that the third brake light and associated bed lights are missing...completely. I have the little cover that goes on it, but no bulbs, etc. Since I am not made of money and it is only my work truck, I was hoping someone could give me a little insight as to how to make these work so that I can pass state inspection. I can do the work myself, and as i said before, am not made of money so would like to try to just do some quick fixes that will work. I thought there might be a relay somewhere in the cab on the power wire for it, but have no clue where to even start looking. Anyone able to help??
Did you check the fuse for the reverse lamp circuit ?
The CHMSL, you will need to purchase the bulb holders ( bone yard, or dealer / online dealer maybe a parts shop would have the same twist in socket types ? )

1) Where is the fuse for the reverse lamp circuit?
2) What is CHMSL, is that the third brake light?
