On the SCab & SCrew it is mounted ~ center on the rear wall of the cab of the truck, behind the rear seat back.

great. becasue i've been having my cargo light up top leaking and it leaked pretty bad into my truck and my truck has been blowing the fuse that runs the running lights/ fog/ dash lights/ and something else, and all i can think of is that the water drained into the BCM and screwed something up

The something else might point to the BCM, but the parking lamps, fog lamps, and dash lamps are not controlled by the BCM. They are controlled by the main headlamp switch.

You are talking about a Ford, not a GM product.

Which fuse do you keep blowing ?

For water to get to the BSM, it would have to be leaking around the rear window, or water is not paying attention to gravity, as it would need to go around the window, under it, and back up to the BSM.

I would start with taking apart the cargo lamp / CHMSL housing, and see if something is wrong with that ( considering that is where the leak is at )

The cargo lamp is part of the interior lights, and that is where the water leak is at.

Next I would follow the wiring down the c-pillar to the sill plate on the passenger side.

My guess would be a corroded bulb socket in the cargo lamp / CHMSL housing causing the fuse to blow ??

This is without knowing when the fuse blows ( when the door opens, when the brakes are one, etc ).
