Question Remote start with factory keyless entry?

I've searched the forums and couldn't find anything. If I missed it let me know and I apologize for the double post. My question is can you add or somehow splice in a remote start to a factory keyless entry system with PATS without having to buy a kit? It's for a 2005 Screw. Thanks in advance for any information.

What do you mean, without having to buy a kit ?

You would need to buy the remote start system, and the PATS bypass.
That could be considered a kit.

just the keyless entry/remote start systems are fairly cheap. It still keeps the keyless entry the same with just a different remote that has a start button also.

I wanted remote start, and i ended up deciding that id get a security system while i was at it.... my kit came with the keyless entry/start/and security functions. I love it.

Try this site tho, they have GREAT service and the best prices i could find. they will have the remote start you'll want. Hope this helps!
