window switch lights
does anybody know where i can find a blue light or a whole new piece that is for the window switch and for all of the other ones like the lock, unlock ect. usually thay are the green color but i am looking for blue. my year is 2004

try a couple of searches and youll get plenty of results.
as for what your trying to do.
if you take the switch completely apart youll find a circuit board that has all of the LEDs on it. and these LEDs are small, i mean real tiny. the actual LED is green but the arrow on the switch is white, so whatever colour the LED the arrow is that colour.
you just have to unsolder the stock ones, and solder in some blue LEDs and away you go. if your good with a solder iron it should take you no more then and hour to do all four doors and the moonroof and power slider.
PS: you do not need to find super tiny LEDs. i personally replaced all of my LEDs because they were burnt out and i used 3mm ones and ive never had a problem with them. (the 3mm ones look like giants compared to the stock ones)
