Keyfob question

Hey guys. New truck owner here. 06 fx4 screw 5.4 with dealer installed remote start. My question is....

Is there a replacement keyfob that will do the doors and remote start on my truck??? I hate the idea of having 2 seperate keyfobs. Seems kinda stupid eh?

Part number if its actually available too please?

How about the mfgr & model of the remote start ?

Most common mfgrs of RMST the lock / unlock on them work just like the factory RKE fobs, at least the Ford branded CodeAlarm, and the Code Alarm version themselves do.

Its a ford branded system. Seperate remote with ford logo. Owners manuel for it says ford featuring powercode technology if that helps.

Thanks for the reply. Hope this helps?

My remote doesn't look like that. Thats what I'm looking to do. The remote for my truck has three buttons and the start remote is seperate with one button.

If your remote looks like this, ( this is the CA version ) it is the old bronze version, for vehicles without power locks.

The Ford Authorized accessory web site only shows this available for your truck

This seems to be the Silver version, which is what you are looking for.

The old Ford Accy PDF for the remote starts :
http://www.p71interceptor.com/remote...lverbronze.pdf

Sorry, if you have the old bronze unit, it will not unlock the doors ( and the dealer was stupid to sell you that, there is only about 35.00 difference between the units retail )
