Locking Horn Too Loud

My 2008 F-150 SCREW's locking/unlocking horn "chirp" can raise the dead, and I'm sure it does when I unlock my truck to go to work at 2:00 AM.

Anyone know how I can get the horn toned down to a real chirp instead of a blast?

Thanks, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I have a CA-670 and mine does the same. no matter arm or disarm it blasts the horn once or twice and have talked to travis about shutting it off and he's baffled too? so im stuck with it or get a viper or something.

You pushing the button once or twice ?

My only signals the horn when the 2nd press of the button, this is with a Ford brand RMST installed, which should be the same as the CA version.

Also, it signals the horn, only 1 sound level on the horn, can't change that.

Thanks for all the inputs, I guess the neighbors will have to deal with the 2AM wake-up calls.

Living only forty miles from the Mexican border, I had the dealer leave the secondary alarm on it. Cheap insurance.

:santa: Merry Christmas to all.
