needing proper power strip for heat patches

I just had a (freeze plug) type block heater oil pan heater patch and battery blanket installed and now I need a 3 adapter power strip with 18" cord or something like that. I saw the 3 way heavy duty 2ft cords and plan on getting one but the reason i mention the power strip is because the oil pan patch just bearly reaches past the radiator. Im running 400 watt freeze plug, 100 watt oil pan heater and didn't ask him about the battery blanket. I'm sure most any power strip would handle it easy. I would like to get the kind with the switch so I can at least make sure the strip was working. the one they gave to me free doesn't light up so i cut the ties and threw the thing in the garbage. I sure wish the people who make the heater patches would add an extra ft or at least 6 inches on their cords. the mechanic said he used napa parts.

this is from a canadian retailer but im sure you could find it in the states as well.

the problem with getting a power strip like you want is that most sold are for indoor use and will not be recommended to be used outdoors or in moist enviroments.

the blue corded block heater cords have a LED in the female end to let you know that it does have power to it.

good luck

Leviton makes a 3 plug head, orange that I saw at Home Depot. This and a Refrigerator / Window AC extension cord would work good.

Also Leviton's side has a 3 outlet extender, with a GFI inline

Path :

All Leviton Products > Cord Sets > Cord Sets (Industrial Grade) > Straight Blade

This is a 3' cord

There is also the power Squid version, don't know if they have a 3 outlet version
www.powersquid.com/

Good old stand by, Amazon, with the term outdoor electrical outlet.
Has the timer built into it, so you don't need it external ( if you want it timed )?

thank you very much for your help. sorry i failed to address the issue with the power strips being mostly an indoor product. I was thinking along the same lines. Just the length would make it easier to hook up the cords. The power squid looks sweet. thanks again. I haven't gone to look over the past week because i don't even have the money to buy one. man being laid off is terrible. can't even buy myself a loaf of bread until the 29th. sure, i'll take the built in timer on the squid any day. i have a timer box but power squid looks great.
