Help locating connector / pigtail.
I've found two other posts about this on the forum no one has ever answered, so I'll try again.
My '07 was broken into and in the process of taking the radio they pulled the connector right off the wire going to the "passenger airbag disabled" light on the top of the center console. The light is fine, but I now have no plug, just two bare wires. Sliding them on the terminals all works fine.
Ford and the body shop both have the same "solution", replace the entire main wiring harness. The stereo guy suggested soldering on some wires to the light and adding a locking connector as the cheaper "right" fix.
Buying the connector would be the obvious solution, but it's unclear if anyone sells this connector, and if they do I don't know the right description / part number to ask for.
The alternate solution would be to cut about 12" off a totaled one in a junk yard and then just splice the two wires. I've tried to do this but the "pull a part" places don't have anything new enough, and the two or three places I've found online that specialize in late model parts from wrecks strip the parts for you and don't remove the wiring harness, and thus have no way to sell it to me.
Any help on locating the plug, or a junkyard that might be able to cut off the bit I need and sell it to me would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not familliar with the connection. Last time I was looking around NAPA there were some of the weather tight connections that are oem style. If they carry these maybe they carry the one your looking for also.
