Windshield wipers not working right?

My windshield wiper dont work properly...they will come on and go once and then they never come back...on any speed except for the hi and lo...those work fine. my washer fluid motor doesnt come on either when i push the button in and the windshield wipers dont come on either. has anyone else had this problem? if so, how do i fix it? is it a fuse? i assumed it wasnt a fuse because they still work...they just dont work right. any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have a similar problem, I have to push the button in multiple times to get my fluid to spray. I did come across a post on how to take the turn signal switch - wiper level apart and clean the contacts but that didn't seem to work in my case. they are pretty cheap to replace, like $60 on ebay and i'm sure cheaper at a junk yard.

oh yea...but after i posted this i realized that isnt there relays or something like that in these trucks? maybe one of those is for all of this? im gonna check my manual when i get home tonight...and i have the benefit of my dad having the same exact truck so i can just swap them out to figure out exactly whats wrong and then go buy it.

Considering it is centralized to the MFS part for the wipers, I would suspect that this is a problem with the MFS.

well i was reading in my manual that there is 3 relays...one for the hi/lol...one for the other speeds...and one for the washer motor. so i think im going to try replacing them first.

ok so today i went and switched my relays around trying to see if i could determine if there was one or 2 that were bad but no matter where i put them it did the same thing so i decided it was the switch...so i read that thread and decided i would take it apart and see if i could see anything. so i took it apart looked inside, decided it looked a little too complicated for me to mess with right now cause i didnt want to mess it up and have no wipers at all if it were to rain. so i put it all back together...and guess what...they worked...everything works the washer fluid button works now and so does the stop and go speeds...i guess something just wasnt lined up right or wasnt touching properly. so im still not sure exactly what did it but now it works and thats all that matters. thanks for the help guys.
