I have 2003 Ford F250 Super Duty Extended Cab and the when i exit the vehicle and close the door the Dome Light and Exterior Cargo Light stay on for approxiamelty 10 minutes, then finally they shut off.

Also, when entering the vehicle I shut the door, start the truck, the Dome Light and Exterior Cargo Light stay on until i drive up to about 10 MPH.

I have WD-40'd all switches and no results yet! Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

If you are equipped with auto timed shut off check that timer module. I had a situation where the rear window defroster switch was turning on the rear window defroster with the key out of the ignition and killing the battery all by itself. Replacing the defroster timer switch solved it.
