I have a 2000 ford f-150 xlt lariat extended cab step side 4x4. First one door lock wouldn't work then several months later the other one quit working. They try to unlock when you hit the button and you can hear it trying but seems like they just give up. After you hit the unlock button on the door several times you can't hear it trying anymore. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

sounds like you need a new actuators

 

our trucks actuators are cheap and they break...the same thing happened to me...you need new actuators....and if you are handy id suggest to DIY...it was simple
