CompuStar Alarm/Remote Start HELP!!!
Okay, so I think, or actually I know I bit off more than I can chew. I'm installing this on a 2004 F150 SCREW 4x4. I've got some of this thing hooked up, but I have a long way to go, and I don't know how many of these wire's I have to use and the one's that I do were they are supposed to go. Any help would be very greatly appreciated. So i'll go through the connectors and the wires that I'm not sure about. Which is a lot of them.
Connector 2 - Light output (-)
- Status Output (-)
- Ignition Output (-)
- Accessory Output (-)
- Starter Output (-)
Connector 3 - E-Brake Sensing (-) - Shouldn't have to use its an Auto
- Hood Sensing (-)
- Brake Sensing (-) - Got this one figured out.
- Trunk Sensing (-) - No trunk.
- Door Sensing (-)
- Door Sensing (+)
-Engine Sensing (-) - got this one figured out and learned.
Connector 4 - Trunk Unlock (-) - No trunk.
- 2nd pulse Unlock (-)
- Unlock (-)
- Lock (-)
Connector 5 - Rearm (-)
- Disarm (-)
- Dome Light Supervision (-)
- Siren (+) - Got this one figured
- Horn (-)
Once again, any help would be greatly appreciated as to were I'm supposed to hook these wires up to and which one's I do not need. Thanks.

update me on what you have done so far and i will try and help from their not something to tackle if your a begginer unless you are good electrical wiseConnector 2 - Light output (-)
- Status Output (-) goes to ground out while running of bypass
- Ignition Output (-) goes to purple wire on extra relay on main harnesss
- Accessory Output (-)
- Starter Output (-)
Connector 3 - E-Brake Sensing (-) -pull out of connector or cut short
- Hood Sensing (-) goes under hood to hood pin switch that u need to install
- Brake Sensing (-) - Got this one figured out.
- Trunk Sensing (-) - No trunk.
- Door Sensing (-)
- Door Sensing (+) goes to positive dome light then program dome delay
-Engine Sensing (-) - got this one figured out and learned.
Connector 4 - Trunk Unlock (-) - No trunk.
- 2nd pulse Unlock (-)
- Unlock (-) pink light green in drivers kick panel
- Lock (-) pink yellow in drivers kick
Connector 5 - Rearm (-) red and yellow diode isolate in drivers kick panel
- Disarm (-) green/purple in driver kick panel
- Dome Light Supervision (-)
- Siren (+) - Got this one figured
- Horn (-)
test all wires with multimeter first good luck

So I ended up getting all the remote start functions working. Works like a charm. But I still got all the alarm stuff to do. Door's and such. It's not that I'm not experienced with vehicles. On the mechanical side, there's pretty much nothing I won't do. I just hate electrical and couldn't seem to find the information I needed on which wire was what and so on and so forth. I guess I was just hoping that someone had done a full "How to" write up on exactly which wires to hook into and so on. I was able to find this for my Acura on an Acura form. Pictures and everything. Made it real easy. Anyways, I think after this weekend I'll have it all done maybe then I will make a "How to" write up just so other's know which wires are what. Can't believe that my local shop wanted to charge close to $500 for this installation when by the time I'm done I will have spent about 4 hours in the truck. Countless hours online finding out what's what. I guess that's what they charge for. The knowledge. Cause it sure isn't the time. I bet if I did this again it would be have that. Anyways, thanks to all those who responded.
