When I inserted my key in the ignition of my '99 F-150 5.4 XLT, the idiot lights were illuminated, the odometer displayed -----, the theft light started flashing, and the battery gauge became active. I tried to start it but no luck. The engine turned over but it didn't start. I pulled the key out and the instrument lights stayed on. I lifted the negative terminal momentarily and the truck started fine. When I pulled the key out the instrument lights stayed on again. Anybody see this before??
