Harley Davision Gauge Cluster

Question,

What is the process to swap out a 2002 oem cluster to a 2001 f150 harley davision cluster? I have a 2002 5.4l f-150.

Is that even possible?

I may be wrong but from what I hear, you have to have the dealer recalibrate the speedo and that's expensive; $$$$$$$$$$. I thought about it myself but was turned off when I heard this.

it's the "PATS" that has to be re-programmed the odometer is part of that too.

other than that it's a straight bolt in, neal put a Lightning cluster in his truck and he didn't have too much trouble

If harley cluster shows different mileage than it must be programmed for "PATS" and so that odometer matches up. It is not too expensive though, I have read on this forum $35 in one thread, $65 or $75 in another thread. BUT, I have also read at least two threads that they went to the dealer and the dealer wouldn't do it unless the cluster was NEW WITH ZERO MILES. So I would say go to your dealer and ask, that is Always free!
