After recently installing a new stereo in my 01 SCAB, my air bag light is won't go off. I rechecked the connection and it's fine. The light on the dash blinks two times, pause, then seven times, then starts the same sequence over again, Is there some sort of re-boot function that I need to do, or do I need to get a new module? Thanks

Thanks Torkum, I found some other threads on the same subject. got a new light bulb at R.S. part #272-1141, $1.49. Soldered it on and problem solved. Sure am glad it wasn't anything crazy that I'd have to take it to the dealer. Thanks again for your help.

 

This happened on my 1991 Ford Mustang LX, 5.0 a few weeks ago when I drove through some deep standing water after a rain storm. I must have gotten something wet because it stopped after a few days of driving in hot, dry weather. Mel
