battery light on

i have an 05 f150 4.6 xlt. last night when i was driving home from work, my battery light went on, so i went to autozone and had the guy plug their machine into my truck and figure out what was wrong with it. he said my battery, alternator and my starter were fine! the leads to the battery are not corroded at all and look new. this morning i took it up to Oriellys and i got the same thing!

i looked that symbol up in the manual and it said that the battery is not charging right.

some people have told me i just need a new battery, other say the wiring is bad and a sensor is out or something like that. i called the local ford dealer up here and they said it would be 85 bucks just to look at it since my truck went out of warranty as of july 1st.

what could it be? what would be the cheapest way to fix this?

thanks
Jimbo
